The 2027 Duke Institute for Health Innovation (DIHI) Request for Applications is open now through October 17, 2026. We invite you to bring forward bold, practical, and scalable ideas that address high-priority challenges across our clinical enterprise. This year’s cycle is focused on solutions that can accelerate transformation in the following areas:
-
AI-powered solutions for a virtual care platform
-
Automation and workflow redesign
-
Sustainable, patient-facing AI solutions
To help teams shape strong, implementation-ready proposals, the DIHI team will be available to refine early ideas, explore alignment with the focus areas, identify operational partners, and strengthen the pathway from concept to measurable impact.
For full details, eligibility information, and submission instructions, please visit https://dihi.org/events/dihi-rfa/. Proposals are due by October 17, 2026.
We look forward to partnering with you to advance ideas that improve care, strengthen operations, and create lasting value for our patients, clinicians, staff, and communities. All proposals are required to have a DUHS operational lead as a team member to be accepted for review. We look forward to your innovative solutions.
