SciSwaps: An Online Research Resource Sharing Network

SciSwaps is a new online Research Resource Sharing Network platform, hosted through Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, that aims to remove obstacles in research.  Created in collaboration with the School of Medicine, OESO, Plant Accounting, OAWA/DLAR and Campus Police, SciSwaps will help reduce waste and promote collaboration across Duke’s campus.

Highlights:

·       SciSwaps can be used to exchange/share reagents and supplies, equipment, and scientific expertise.

·       Mice@Duke (SharePoint) will replace MouseBase.

·       Open only to individuals with a Duke NetID.

·       For all transfers between labs, ensure you follow University protocol for supplies, reagents, and equipment, especially as it relates to purchases made with federal grant dollars. Please refer to Duke’s policy on Direct Costs on Sponsored Projects and the Federal-wide Cost Principles in the Uniform Guidance.

·       More detailed information can be found in our User Guide (attached) or on our myRESEARCHpath page.
