Summary of Announcement:
NIH is providing notice of an extended leniency period with respect to the adoption and implementation of Common Forms for Biosketches and Other Support through May 2026. During this time, everyone is encouraged to use the Common Forms for their Biosketch and Other Support. However, if the old forms are used, there will be a “Warning” issued and applications will not be withdrawn. In May 2026 (exact date TBD), the warning will transition to an “Error”, and applications using the old forms will be withdrawn. Stay tuned for further guidance from Duke on internal processes/procedures, and we encourage everyone to take steps now to transition to using the new forms.
