Are post-doctorates on non-immigrant visa eligible for these grants ?
Thank you for this question! The goal of the session is to share resources and processes to help those seeking grant funding from private sources, including ways for them to search for opportunities. The primary audience is Duke Faculty PIs, although the information should also be useful for trainees. They will not be discussing many specific grant opportunities. One of their main messages is that the role of the Office of Foundation Relations is not primarily to find grant opportunities for individuals. Instead, it is to provide assistance when applying for and securing grants.
