Library Orientation, Thu, 9/17, 10 am – 12 pm

Dear Scholars,

We are pleased to inform you that we will have our Korean librarian, Miree Ku, to give a library orientation specifically for our scholars in the Program in Asian Security Studies. The primary purpose of this orientation is to prepare scholars in their research at Duke more effective. We hope scholars will take advantage of this opportunity to learn the skills to explore academic resources at Duke and beyond. Please take what benefit you can from it.

Ms. Ku is the Korean Studies Librarian at Duke. She develops collections of materials from and about Korea and provides specialized reference assistance and instruction to library users. Plus, she will talk in your native language, Korean.

This event will take place in a computer lab in Bostock Library. So everyone will have an opportunity to get hand-on experiences if you like.

Please reserve your time, and bring your curiosity and questions!
