Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Reports to: Licensed Psychiatrist
Classification: Salaried, Exempt
Job Purpose: Evaluate, treat, and help support for service users with mental health, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues.
Description:
• Outpatient Monday to Friday 40 hrs per week (8am-5pm) position with no on call or weekend hours
• Supported by Medical Assistants and Patient Coordinators
• Includes general adult psychiatry patients that are commercially insured
• Work in integrated setting with primary care physicians and over 60 behavioral therapists
• Patient load includes 50% telehealth and 50% on site visits
Experience, Education and Licensure:
• Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent PA program degree
• Current valid state medical license
• Board Certified Mental Health NP or PA
• DEA License
• Suboxone license a plus
