Duke AHEAD event – Teaching in the Presence of Patients – 4/27/16

Imagine… You are supervising a learner (student or resident).  You are caring for a patient.  And you are behind.  How will you get everything done efficiently while still teaching?

We all teach students and care for patients.  What can we learn from each other?  How do others teach in the presence of patients?  What attention do you play to setting expectations for the learner and the patient?  Help us create 5 tips for teaching in the presence of patients that we can all use moving forward!

RSVP to dukeahead@dm.duke.edu and fill out a brief survey prior to the presentation here.
