We would like to congratulate Dr. Robert Butler, who has accepted the position of Director of Performance with the St. Louis Cardinals Major League Baseball organization effective February 1, 2016. Dr. Butler’s quest as a clinician and movement scientist has been to translate evidence-based performance models to practice, with a goal to amplify movement of all people at all ages. The opportunity to apply his knowledge and experience within a professional sports team is truly an exceptional opportunity.

While Dr. Butler’s departure is a great loss to the Division of Physical Therapy, it represents an amazing opportunity for him. Congratulation to Dr. Butler and we wish him all the best with the St. Louis Cardinals!
