Biography: Zoe Wong

Zoe Wong is a second-year graduate student in the Master of Environmental Management program (Coastal Environmental Management concentration) at Duke’s Nicholas School of the Environment. Before coming to Duke, she conducted research on cetaceans in the Gulf of Maine and worked as a marine ecology and conservation educator in Hawaii. Zoe is interested in illegal fishing, offshore aquaculture, and offshore energy development and is planning to pursue a career in federal policy after graduating in May 2022. At Duke, her research focuses on understanding how the US offshore aquaculture industry is adapting to climate change. Zoe works with the Event Planning team as the Speaker Liaison.
