African & American Studies with Education Minor
Kaycee Hailey is a student in the class of 2023 hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina. Kaycee is currently as the Community Engagement Chair on Duke’s NAACP Executive Board, Black Caucus Chair on the Black Student Alliance Executive Board, and the secretary for the Bridge. Kaycee has interest in poetry, studying filmmaking, and education. She is thrilled to be one of the founding members of the Mitchell-White House and is eager to build a strong house community. Kaycee also hopes to honor the legacies of the pioneers of Duke’s Black community through her work with the house course.
