Biology and African & African American Studies Major
Gianni is a rising sophomore born and raised in Durham, NC. At Duke, She’s a Cardea Fellow, which is a four-year undergraduate fellowship for highly motivated students who are committed to pursing careers in the health field. Gianni is also a member of Native American Student Alliance (NASA), who serves the Native community through education, career, and cultural support. She’s a member of Duke Low-Income First-Generation Engagement (LIFE), which is serves to help first-generation and low-income students .She is extremely passionate about serving others and giving back to my community. Her interests are strongly oriented around researching the health disparities within minority communities (African-Americans, Native American, Latinx).
