Learn how to be an integral part of our committee:
In order to join any club within the PDC umbrella, students have to go through a 2-step screening process.
1) The process starts with students filling out an application which is rolled out in the beginning of every semester. Every student gets to specify preferences for three clubs. Based on their response to questions within the application as well as background fit to the club, students are shortlisted to interview with clubs.
2) The interviews are conducted in order to evaluate the overall fit and passion of the student for the club. Finally, based on the interview, students are shortlisted to be a member for specific clubs.
Consulting Club has one additional level of recruitment. The club members for consulting club act as project coordinators for Consulting Club’s pro bono consulting projects. The project coordinators and club President also have the responsibility of hiring students to work for those pro bono consulting projects.
Towards the end of every semester, club members get an opportunity to apply for the position of President for their respective clubs for the following semester or apply to be the President of PDC. The decision is based on an interview round and the quality of work with the club in the past.
Important note – Only those students who have worked in a club are eligible to apply for the position of club President and/or PDC president
