Consulting Club

The Duke Master of Engineering Management Consulting Club serves as a link between academia and the consulting industry. We aim to assist club members in nurturing their skill set in accordance with the consulting field and establishing relationships with the industry professionals from the consulting field. By bringing these resources together, we help members make informed decisions about pursuing a consulting career and prepare accordingly.

The club acts as a resource for students to become proficient at case and resume interviews through workshops, team practice and guidance from experienced peer mentors. It also provides opportunities for students to network with consulting professionals. One of the most important activities of the club includes industry projects where students get to work on a real life problem and gain valuable experience within a team of four with oversight by a project coordinator.

Example of previous events include:

  • Workshop with former McKinsey resruiters
  • Coffee chat with Bain employees
  • Case practice sessions
  • 8 week consulting project for select members*

*application and interviews for select projects
