Ahmad Amireh

Ahmad is a senior double majoring in Biology and Evolutionary Anthropology with a minor in Chemistry. Outside of his coursework, he is interested in the Middle East and refugee populations. He has interned with Juzoor for Health and Social Development in Ramallah, Palestine, and that experience drew him to this Bass Connections team. In the summer of 2019, he was a volunteer with Unite Lebanon Youth Project and taught an SAT course to a class of 27 Palestinian refugees in Beirut, Lebanon. On campus, he work with the Kenan Institute of Ethics as a mentor to recently resettled refugees and immigrants. Ahmad is currently weighing his gap year options and preparing applications for medical school.
