Some helpful tips for enjoying the NCLAFF films online…
Be on time!
We will start the films promptly at 7 pm and allow 5 minutes for viewers to sign on to the Zoom session. After that, no viewers will be allowed to join to optimize the experience for everyone.
Connect a computer
to your TV
Links to watch the films on web browser are in each program day (or click at this list). Make sure to turn off your video and mic in zoom (please) and set full screen to enjoy the films. If you would like to watch on a bigger screen, you can connect your laptop to the TV using an HDMI cable, or you can cast the video using Chromecast, Apple TV, or Roku. Here are instructions for you to download!
Turn the lights down
If the films contain dark scenes, turning down the lights will improve visibility. And it will feel like a movie in a real theater!
Bring snacks!
Make some popcorn, break out the chips and salsa, have some agua fresca! Enjoy!
