Xklp1

Confocal image of Xenopus XL177 cultured cells stained for microtubules (green) and Xklp1 (red). The image shows that Xklp1 is nuclear in interphase. It is associated with the chromosomes (at the spindle poles in the anaphase spindle shown) throughout mitosis and also accumulates at the spindle mid-zone during anaphase.
