Satana Deberry (Law ‘94) is the District Attorney for Durham CountyThroughout her career, she has worked to dismantle systems that restrict the lives of poor people, families, communities of color and other marginalized and underrepresented groups — whether it is criminal justice, access to housing, food and medicine, or childcare. Jay Ruckelshaus
Rhodes Scholar, Executive Director of Ramp Less Traveled, Trinity ’16
Jay Ruckelshaus (T ‘16) will be one of the Just Space Conference keynote speakers. He is a Rhodes Scholar and Executive Director of Ramp Less Traveled. His work and advocacy focuses on expanding college access for students with spinal cord injuries, and he has appeared in media ranging from the New York Times and BBC to the The TODAY Show.
