Interested in the Program?
Young Adults aged 18-26 years old who have been diagnosed with cancer, may be eligible to participate in a free, telephone-based peer support program. This program is designed for:
- Young adults aged 18-26 that have been affected by cancer, who are interested in peer support within the context of navigating their next steps.
- Parent caregivers who are interested in peer partnership as they support their young adult while also considering their own wellness.
How it Works
Peer support is done via phone at a time agreed upon between you and the peer at no cost to families. Peer support is typically every 2 weeks for 3 to 6 months as the peer partners with you as you consider your next steps.
