The Duke Institute for Healthcare Improvement (Duke IHI) would like to invite you to our annual kickoff event! The Duke IHI serves to strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration around improving health care delivery and patient safety. The institute invites students across graduate schools to participate in local workshops, speaker series, scholarly projects, and national meetings to further understand how we can work towards improving safety, quality, and efficiency of patient care on a local and national level.
This year, we are excited to invite Dr. Geoffrey Ginsburg to be our keynote speaker for the night. Dr. Ginsburg is a Professor of Medicine, Pathology, Nursing, and Biomedical Engineering, as well as the Director of MEDx and the Duke Center for Applied Genomics and Precision Medicine. He has dedicated his career to fostering the exchange of ideas between interdisciplinary groups on campus and has spearheaded numerous initiatives to bring Duke to the forefront of healthcare quality and innovation.
