EGR 121 is designed to introduce early-stage engineers to the basics of Mechanical Engineering. Building off of first-year experiences, it focuses on specially designed group projects that help students gain skillsets ranging from 3D modeling, designing for large-scale manufacturing, electromechanics, and (most importantly) collaboration.
I took EGR 121 with the one and only Rebecca Simmons. She encouraged me throughout this course, instilling enough self-belief that helped me stay in engineering when I myself was losing confidence in it. Thank you, Becky.
