Janaina Brizante earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of São Paulo in 2005 in marketing, and her master’s in psychology in 2008. Jana is fascinated by how humans make decisions, and the individual differences observed even when they are making simple choices. Currently, she is studying the cognitive and neural mechanisms behind economic decision making, especially consumer choices. Jana’s research interests also include exploring the relationship between loss aversion and pain perception, and social decision making.
