Meet one of our Previous RAs: Freddie Xu

Meet Freddie Xu, who majored in Biology and Political Science. He loves all things tomato sauce but hates tomatoes. During his time at Duke, he was an in Edens 2C, Bastille House.
He loved being able to program and build a community within his residents. And, while the RA compensation package is great, Freddie said the best part of his position was the ability to meet people all over campus and really become engaged within the Duke community. In fact, Freddie’s favorite memory as an RA was being able to experience the Infinity Wars movie with his residents (talk about a community-building activity!).
Interested in becoming an RA like Freddie? He does offer some advice: teamwork is a huge factor in the RA role, much more than people think. “Your RA team is a lifesaver!”
