Lydia Barrios

Lydia Barrios is a senior majoring in Political Science with a certificate in Markets and Managements Studies and a minor in Chinese. Although originally from Madrid, Spain, Lydia also grew up in the UK, US, Russia, and Canada. In addition to English and Spanish, Lydia also speaks French, Russian, and Chinese. At Duke, Lydia served as President of the Latin American Student Organization, as Director of Publicity for the 2019 Duke-UNC China Leadership Summit (CLS) and as Treasurer for 2018 CLS, as VP of Marketing for the Alexander Hamilton Society her junior year, and as Secretary General of the Duke International Security Conference her junior and senior year, among other positions she held on campus. Next year, Lydia will be moving to San Francisco, CA to work at Google as an Associate Product Marketing Manager.
