Ketan Gupta

Ketan Gupta is a senior from New Delhi, India, and is majoring in Political Science and Public Policy with a minor in Economics. At Duke, Ketan is involved with the Duke Debate Society and is a Council member of the Duke Program in American Grand Strategy. Previously, Ketan has worked as a Research Assistant to Dr. Anirudh Krishna at the Sanford School of Public Policy and as an analyst with the Laboratory for Unconventional Conflict Analysis & Simulation (LUCAS). His summer research experiences have included stints with the Brookings Institution, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and MIT’s Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) in New Delhi.

Ketan plans to attend law school after either studying in the UK for an advanced degree in international relations or working in a policy or law-related role in the US. After a few years of practicing in the US, he intends to return to litigate in India and then pivot to a role in public policy or politics back home.
