Morenike Moroof-Mustapha 20′ is from Staten Island, New York. At Duke, she is a Political Science major with a concentration in Security, Peace, and Conflict and has minor in Neuroscience. She is currently a member of the Duke Women’s Club Lacrosse team and was an executive member of Duke’s She’s the First and Spoon University organizations. Morenike has an interest in international security and affairs, which inspired her to conduct independent research on counterterrorism issues in Sweden last summer. After graduation plans to work in Stockholm for the following year before applying to graduate school to study international relations.
