Welcome!

Each year on May 20th, a summer-long campaign kicks off to raise awareness about clinical research.

Clinical Trials Day is celebrated around the world in May to recognize the day that James Lind started what is often considered the first randomized clinical trial aboard a ship on May 20, 1747.  Click here to learn more about the story.

Duke University, Durham Technical Community College, North Carolina Central University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill have joined forces to create the Home Run Heroes team to share resources about clinical research with the Durham community.
