Personal

Life Outside of Political Science

I am a devoted Razorback fan. I grew up in Fayetteville, Arkansas, located at the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. I’m a graduate of the University of Arkansas (BA,’96; MA ’98), as is my husband, Joel (BA ’95; JD ’98). Among my favorite memories is the 1994 NCAA National Championship win over the Duke Blue Devils. Click here to read about “the shot” — Scotty Thurman’s tie-breaking 3-point rainbow as the shot clock ran out in the last minute of the game. On the gridiron, my favorite game was the 2000 Cotton Bowl win against the Texas Longhorns.
