Ryan P. Bell, Ph.D, is a Research Analyst in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Bell received his Ph.D. in Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience at the City University of New York. He joined the HARP team in 2016 as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Dr. Bell is involved in domestic HARP projects focused on HIV risk in drug users utilizing multi-modal neuroimaging methods and cutting-edge statistical paradigms to elucidate brain structure and function. Dr. Bell’s research interests include investigating the neurobiological effects of HIV infection and co-occurring substance use to identify biomarkers for clinical intervention targets.
