Janequia received her BS in Biology from Winston-Salem University in May 2017. Prior to joining the HARP team, she worked at Duke as a research technician in Dr. Ed Levin’s Neurobehavioral Research Lab in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Levin’s team uses animal models to study the neurocognitive effects of different substances, environmental pollutants, and pesticides. Janequia is very excited for the opportunity to switch to clinical research. She joins the HARP team eager to learn more about the neurological outcomes of HIV disease and drug addictions.
