Events and Workshops

The Harmony Humanities Lab (HHL) hosts a range of events designed to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration:

Annual Workshop on Comparative Philosophy: Bringing together scholars from diverse philosophical traditions, this workshop serves as a key event for exploring comparative perspectives and fostering deeper understanding across cultural and philosophical boundaries.

Research Seminars and Talks: Throughout the year, the lab organizes seminars and guest lectures on topics related to harmony, ethics, environmental philosophy, and more. These events provide a platform for experts to share insights and engage with the broader academic community.

Work-in-Progress Sessions: HHL hosts work-in-progress sessions where researchers present developing projects. These sessions encourage feedback, collaboration, and cross-disciplinary exchange among participants.

These events invite participants across the Duke community and beyond to engage with themes central to the lab’s mission, promoting ongoing learning and discovery.
