GEMS Fall Meeting

Join us for our fall meeting on November 2nd from 9am – 4:30pm. There will be invited speakers as well as student talks, along with an opportunity to interact with fellow meeting attendees in small groups (optional). This meeting is free to attend!

Theme: Error-corrected Next Gen Sequencing Applications in Genotoxicity and Carcinogenicity

Call for abstracts!

For students/trainees submitting abstracts for giving a 10 minute presentation (8 minute talk plus 2 minutes for questions), there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards with monetary prizes. The 1st place winner will also be asked to serve as a member of the board of directors for Nov 2021 – Nov 2022. This is a great opportunity for career development and networking.

Further instructions: Student/trainee abstracts should pertain to genetics, environmental mutagenesis, or a closely related topic, but do not need to be related to the meeting theme. Abstracts are limited to 300 words. Please include a concise title, the full names of the authors (first, middle initial, last name), and all of the author affiliations using superscripted notation (include institution, city, state, and zip code). Underline the name of the presenting author. If you have any questions about submission, please reach out to us (email.gems@gmail.com). Submit your abstract to email.gems by October 1st.
