GPSC Resources

The Graduate and Professional Student Council provides resources for students and student groups to support our fellow graduate and professional students.  Additional resources provided by Duke University can be found here.

Fall 2020 Return to Campus Student Forum – FAQ & Zoom Recording

To further address our student’s questions and concerns regarding the return to campus, the GPSC Executive members held a student forum on Tuesday 8/11. The FAQ’a regarding return to campus can be found here along with the Zoom recording.

Community Pantry – MODIFIED SERVICES

GPSC’s community pantry is open to all graduate and professional students and is located at the GPSC House (306 Alexander Ave), stocked with nonperishable foods, childcare items, school supplies, and gently used professional clothing.  A valid graduate or professional Duke student ID is required for entry.

Emergency Travel Fund – available

The GPSC Emergency Travel Fund provides students with partial reimbursement for medical emergency or bereavement related travel.

Lawyer Assistance Program – available virtually!

The GPSC Lawyer Assistance Program provides students with legal counseling, risk reduction, and mitigation of legal issues.

Rent the GSPC House – SUSPENDED

Need a place to host your event?  The GPSC House is a space that Duke Graduate and Professional student groups can use for events and meetings.  The house has a living area, kitchen, conference room, meeting rooms, and an outdoor yard.

Funding for Student Groups – SUSPENDED

The Duke Graduate and Professional Student Council encourages students to form groups around social, academic and cultural similarities. To support these groups, the GPSC allocates a large portion of its budget to funding events and materials for these groups.
