Hello everyone! I’m Yuchi! After a long, long trip from Kaohsiung to Chengdu to Amsterdam to Dublin to Boston, I’m thrilled that we finally get to meet each other! ヽ(●´ε｀●)ノ Over the past few months, I’ve been working as an art producer for a Singaporean company in Chengdu. Before that, I interned in fundraising at the Prince Claus Fund in Amsterdam while studying communication science. I have a specific research interest in art accessibility, building on my previous research into the art market in Asia during my time at the fund. Growing up in what is often referred to as a “cultural desert,” I was fortunate to have ample access to art. My hope is that, through this program, I can explore solutions to bring similar experiences to those in need. I look forward to learning interdisciplinary approaches to get closer to this goal because, it is as they said at the fund, culture is a basic need!
