The inaugural Global Reproductive Health Leadership Symposium was held on February 27 – March 1, 2018 at Duke University. The Symposium brought together partners from Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, in addition to Duke undergraduates, graduates, residents, fellows and a wide variety of faculty members from across Duke University. Each of the three days focused on a different theme: Increasing Scientific Productivity; Leadership and Mentorship; and Defining research priorities for strategic collaborations across east Africa. The Symposium was developed and hosted by the Center for Global Reproductive Health and generously sponsored by The Duke Office of Global Affairs, The Duke Africa Initiative, The Duke Global Health Institute, The Josiah Trent Memorial Foundation, and the Duke Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
