On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, The History of Medicine Collections co-sponsored an event with the Health Humanities Lab and the Trent Center for Bioethics, Humanities & the History of Medicine in honor of World AIDS Day. Speakers at the event included: Maria de Bruyn, Alicia Diggs of North Carolina AIDS Action Network, poet and writer Kelley Swain, and students from the HIV/AIDS Narratives class.
