It is unlikely that there will be time to present an upcoming Gastroenterology paper that relates to gastroesophageal junction cancers and obesity, but I’ll leave it posted here in case anyone is interested as it may relate to development of GE junction cancers: Central Obesity in asymptomatic volunteers is associated with increased intasphincteric acid reflux and lengthening of the cardiac mucosa.
