GCS Thesis Project

For my GCS Thesis Research, I participated in an incredible Bass Connections project focused on adapting deep learning models to identify energy infrastructure from satellite imagery. The main purpose of this research is to provide policymakers and businesses with automated energy grid information so they can decide to either expand the national grid, build a microgrid, or provide off-grid. This dynamic infrastructure map will also be of high utility for other researchers and data initiatives. Our team website (which we would love feedback on!) is linked here.
