2019-2020 Lab Undergraduate Interns
Courtney Dantzler is a freshman studying Computer Science and Global Cultural Studies in the Department of Literature. As a Duke Games & Cultures Lab Intern, she is researching the history and theory of collaborative music to develop a pedagogical game that exercises musical improvisational skills. She aims to understand the dynamics of roleplaying and risk-taking in an ensemble, and how games promote creativity in the process of art-making. Outside of this project, Courtney writes for the arts section of the Chronicle, DJs at WXDU, and works at the Music Library.
