Mission
The Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club encourages an entrepreneurial spirit at Fuqua through career support, community engagement, and immersive experiences. We facilitate interaction between club members, alumni, entrepreneurs, small business owners, and venture capitalists.
Goals
- EDUCATE: Demystify entrepreneurship and provide education and resources to students interested in entrepreneurship and venture capital career paths.
- CONNECT: Increase the number of students who secure internships and/or jobs with entrepreneurial companies and venture capital firms in RTP and beyond.
- BUILD: Help Fuqua build its brand both on campus and as the top MBA program for entrepreneurship and venture capital.
Events
EVCC hosts several distinguished events throughout the year, including (but not limited to) speaker series, workshops, conferences, career treks, and competitions. We partner with other clubs and initiatives at Duke, other top business programs and organizations to provide MBA students with the resources they need to create successful businesses or land that sought-after startup/VC job.
