Note from the Co-Presidents

Hey y’all (from the southern hemisphere!),

We hope you are enjoying your extended vacations. What have you been getting in to? Hopefully you are resting and relaxing because Spring 1 is just around the corner. Fear not! DMEC and the CMC are here to help. With our powers combined, you’ll be in perfect shape! All you need to do is ask.

Speaking of the CMC, Carol has spearheaded putting together an interview question bank for the community to share. Those of you who have been through this process before (not just SYS), please add your thoughts to the sheet linked below. Those who have not, use this resource for hints on the types of interview questions employers might ask (and contribute what you learned after your interviews!).

If you are still waiting for interviews, it may make you feel better to know that Varun is, too. (He is happy to join a support group if it meets at the bar). This semester will see lots of jobs and internships become available. We just need to be a little patient!

We are looking forward to seeing you all back on campus well-rested and ready to go. Until then, hope you’re actually having as much fun as it seems like on your insta feeds!

Cheers,
Alex & Varun
