Who We Are

Amy Scarbrough

 Co-President

Hi, I’m Amy! I grew up outside of Atlanta, GA and spent a few years in tech before business school, starting in SaaS sales at Oracle and later working on partnerships at Lyft.

At Fuqua, I’ve loved getting involved with AWIB and helping with things like Women’s Leadership Weekend and the annual Investing in Women Conference, and honestly just being surrounded by incredibly driven, thoughtful women.

Outside of school, I’m usually on the hunt for a great meal, attempting a new recipe, or convincing friends to go on a long walk with me. I’m also a big Atlanta United fan and recently picked up sewing, which is still a work in progress.

Hi, I’m Risha! I grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, and before coming to Fuqua, I lived in New Jersey, where I worked in public finance, partnering with cities, municipalities, and state authorities on municipal bond financings.

At Fuqua, I’ve enjoyed getting involved with CASE and am especially excited to become more involved with AWIB this year. I’m excited to find new ways to strengthen and support community of women here at Fuqua!

Outside of school, I’m fully embracing my “crafty girl” era. Most recently that looks like a lot of time crocheting, embroidery and finding any excuse to use my Cricut Printer.  I’m also new to being a Blue Devils fan, but you’ll catch me watching Texas Longhorns and Florida Gator football every weekend!

A Letter from Our Co-Presidents

If there’s one thing we’ve learned at Fuqua, it’s that having the right people around you makes all the difference, and that’s what AWIB is really about.

This year, we’re focused on creating a space that’s both supportive and energizing. A place where you can find your people, but also leave feeling more confident, more prepared, and more excited about what’s next.

We’re aiming for experiences that are actually worth your time, whether that’s small dinners with real conversations, events you’d regret missing, or hearing from women who’ve built paths we’re all curious about.

What makes AWIB special isn’t any one event, it’s this community. We feel really lucky to be part of it, and even more excited to help shape it this year.

Hope to see you there.

Warmly,

Risha & Amy

Our Team
