ALMA is dedicated to supporting current and prospective students who are interested in or identify with the Latinx community as they navigate their MBA journey. If you are a prospective MBA applicant who has received an interview invite from Fuqua and would like to connect, ALMA is here to offer guidance, share insights, and help you feel supported and informed throughout the process.

Fuqua’s MBA Workshop is hosted each year by the student members of Black Business Student Association (BBSA) and the American Latinx Management association (ALMA). Since 1982, The Fuqua School of Business has hosted the MBA Workshop, designed to introduce talented MBA applicants to the Fuqua community and provide insight into the business school admissions process, post-MBA career planning, and graduate degree financing.
Over this three day experience, prospective students have the opportunity to interact with students from BBSA and ALMA, connect with alumni, learn about what Team Fuqua and what it has to offer, and explore Durham.
ALMA partners with the Career Management Center and ALMA alumni to support internship and full-time recruiting.
We host several events through out the year. ALMA hosts Carne Asadas, Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration, Cafecito with Alumni, and Conference Workshops so members have the best of social and professional events.
