Research Project: My research project involves improving our current antifungal therapies by developing a strategy that combines the azoles with metal-binding compounds. The path taken involves testing and characterizing prochelators with antifungal activity against Candida albicans under fluconazole and other azole stress. The project mainly involves analyzing cell assays and UV-visible spectroscopy data. Personal Bio: Outside of lab and class, I am a member of the Duke Marching Band and Pep Band, attending every football and basketball game. I also love to watch movies and read comic books. I am always watching new movies with friends and reviewing them on Letterboxd. |
