About Our Client

The Conservation Fund is a national nonprofit established in 1985 to protect working land and waterways and promote sustainable economic development.  The Conservation Fund has protected more than 200,000 acres in North Carolina and more than 7 million acres nationwide.  Resourceful Communities, a program of The Conservation Fund, was established in 1991 to support a grassroots network that implements the “triple bottom line” – helping people, the economy, and the environment – in North Carolina communities.  The support Resourceful Communities provides to 300+ community groups results in social, environmental and economic benefits; enables access to otherwise inaccessible resources; and helps move people out of poverty  More information on Resourceful Communities is available here.
