This chapter describes the various phenotypes (what we see) in children exposed prenatally to alcohol. The phenotypes include physical abnormalities (especially in the face, head, and skeletal system), neuropsychological dysfunction, and behavioral problems. The neuropsychological and behavioral problems occur in all forms of FASD, while the physical abnormalities are predominantly associated with FAS.
