Duke Campus Farm Catalyzing positive change in the food system

Get Involved

Come visit the farm during our volunteer workdays.

Who: All community members are welcome. You don’t need a Duke affiliation to join us.

When: Thursdays and Sundays from 3-5pm.

Where: Duke Campus Farm, 4934 Friends School Rd, Durham, NC 27705

How to get to the farm: The farm is located directly across from Carolina Friends School in the Duke Forest.

Coming from Duke University, take 751 to the roundabout and turn down Old Erwin Rd towards Chapel Hill. Turn right at Mt. Sinai and take another right onto Friends School Road. Just across from the Carolina Friends School, take another right onto Narrow Lane and you’ll see our sign. Please park in the gravel parking lot immediately to your right.

If you are using GPS to get to us, enter “Carolina Friends School, Durham,” then take the gravel drive, marked “Narrow Lane,” directly across the street.

Whether arriving via Uber or private vehicle, please park/get dropped off in our gravel visitors lot.

Ride Information: Free Uber rides are available to all Duke affiliates. See here for how to catch a lift!

Please ask your driver to take it slow on our gravel drive, and to drop you at the designated drop-off spot, in the gravel parking lot just after you turn onto Narrow Lane.

Groups: If you plan to come with a group of more than five people, please let us know so we can ensure the best possible experience for everyone.

Check out our Facebook page for up-to-date information about Farm workdays and events and follow us on Instagram (@dukecampusfarm). Facebook is also where you’ll find any day-of changes to the usual work day schedule due to weather, etc.

Hard working volunteers take a well deserved watermelon break!
