Deep Visual Insights (DVI) is a Duke startup, commercializing AI software for security camera maintenance. Security cameras are used everywhere and critical during investigations, but their view can become compromised. We provide an enterprise AI solution to quickly and accurately inspect all cameras. The software is in use at Duke and the city of Durham. DVI was founded by Prof. Jordan Malof (Pratt; Duke ECE’15) and Dr. Daniel Reichman (Duke ECE’17).Join DVI as a software development summer intern to expand the capabilities and features of the user-interface of the camera inspection software.
Requirements:
* 2+ years’ experience with the full stack web-development
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS/Less, Bootstrap, Javascript/jQuery, PHP, and MySQL
* Knowledge of modern UI/UX principles
* Deep appreciation for the “Don’t Repeat Yourself” coding principle

Audacity Labs is hiring for two short-term positions!!
1)Graphic Designer/ Media Consultant: we need someone to work with the 3 student teams to do mockups/pitch decks for their final pitches and create a 10 min conclusive video for the program presented on May 2. Pays $300 for the month of April. DEADLINE IS APRIL 6.
2)R&D Summer Intern: Next fall, we will be incorporating our curriculum as an elective for high schools in addition to the after-school project-based work. From late May to July, we need someone to review all of our curriculum, consolidate and optimize for an entire semester course, and create methods of assessment and scaling. The pay will be provided in a $1500 stipend and we will allow mobile work.

We are two faculty members at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business who are experts in the researching entrepreneurship. With support from the Kauffman Foundation, we are building software to help entrepreneurs develop their business ideas. This project, StartIQ, will require a full stack developer.
We would like to hire someone right away. Students with the following skills should apply
- Previous experience developing webapps
- Experience with NODE framework
- Develop front-end applications in React JS
- Develop back-end APIs in Node JS
- Database development in MongoDB
- React JS / Node JS / Rest API / JavaScript / HTML / CSS / Bootstrap
- Strong debugging, problem solving skills.
- Good front-end skills with good understanding of UI frameworks
