Remote – LandUp – Internship

Passionate about the climate crisis and want experience working alongside Duke alums at a seed-stage startup? LandUp is building a marketplace that delivers land assets into carbon removal, emission reduction and renewables projects. Launched out of Harvard Business School in 2021, the team recently closed $2m of pre-seed funding from NFX, DUMAC and a group of climate-focused angels. LandUp has built a wedge helping institutional buyers source land for nature-based carbon removal, and is now looking for someone to join for a 6-8 week internship to help us with new markets including renewables and emission reduction. We are also open to working with students who would like to structure for-credit internships or independent projects in the fall. Ressemble is a sales leadership platform. We created a collaborative space for sales execs to run 1on1s and pipeline reviews.

We are a team of repeat 3 founders (2 exits) that set out to build Ressemble because we were dismayed by the use of spreadsheets and endless meetings in sales. We want to build a better way where execs lead in realtime. Our CEO, Rasmus, got his doctorate from Duke Law School in 2014.

We’re looking for a growth intern to help execute on our gtm strategy. You will be working directly with our CEO to bring our first product to market. Durham – sp0t – Software Engineering Intern

Who we are

sp0t is the open world social app. Users build out their world by “spotting” — sharing photos and videos of cool places to a map shared with friends.   We’re a team of two that set out to build sp0t because we were sick of the social media landscape and wanted a cooler way to share what we found interesting about the world. We’re one developer and one designer, and we graduated from UNC in 2019.   The role

We’re looking for a software engineering intern to build out sp0t’s iOS app. You will be working directly with an experienced product team to bring a consumer product to market. sp0t is an early-stage startup, so expect an environment that requires fast learning and a high degree of autonomy. If there’s a need, this role may expand to adjacent areas such as quality assurance/software testing or analyzing user engagement and retention data.   This position will be paid hourly. A strong performance could lead to a salaried full-time role with equity.   What you’ll do

Allergood, a Duke Fuqua startup founded by MBA student Michelle Addison, is opening up its first intern positions to qualified undergraduates interested in helping fuel the company’s much-anticipated launch this July! As an Allergood intern, you will work with the Allergood startup team, including established marketing experts who will provide strategic leadership and mentorship opportunities.   Allergood will be the online source for anyone with food allergies. We will begin with Allergood’s online grocery platform, designed to make grocery shopping safe, fast and easy for food allergy consumers. Energy Terminal is an energy media startup founded by Duke students seeking to elevate the next generation of leaders in the energy industry and to facilitate student involvement in the energy transition. We are looking for a marketing and strategy intern for the summer.
