After November, an early stage social impact start up, is looking for a part time intern(s) to support the growth and development of this project. Interns will support the primary functions of research, community building, social media strategy, and content curation. Intern(s) will primarily work with the Founder, but will have an opportunity to join strategic conference and planning calls, field community conversations, and provide thoughtful input focused on the growth of the start-up.


Qualified candidates have a vested interest in doing work that impacts systemic change, with a focus on racial and economic equity. Due to the nature of a start-up, a fair amount of flexibility will be required, as the parameters of the work may shift as we better understand our community needs.

Duke Partnership for Service is looking for a new member to join our executive team as the Vice President of Student Organizations. The VP of Student Organizations will work closely to help support student service groups and help to catalyze partnerships between student service groups.

In particular, the VP of student Organizations will be responsible for the following:

  • Work with a team of undergraduate students to execute the dPS’s function as an umbrella organization by collaborating with, organizing, and supporting student service groups

  • Maintain channels of communication with groups

  • Meet with leaders of student service groups

  • Develop opportunities for inter-group dialogue and collaboration, including through monthly dPS Roundtables

  • Publicize grant funding opportunities through dPS with student organizations

  • Organize campus events with coalitions of student service organizations

  • Attend weekly dPS meetings and weekly meetings with advisor
