The Corporate Development Intern will work in a high caliber team, interacting with many different parts of the organization such as Product, Sales and Finance. As an integral part of the Corporate Development team, you will play an influential role in driving Airwallex’s strategic growth in evaluating and executing new investment opportunities, strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures.   In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

-Support analysis on where to deploy resources and develop partnership, investment, and/or acquisition strategies to drive long term strategic value-Research market and analyze competitive landscapes-Develop operating and financial models to support business case-Work with cross functional teams (strategy, finance, product, legal., etc.) in accessing opportunities-Execute transactions that will have a material impact on the business-Qualifications-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English-Currently a student at a top university. Grads and MBAs also welcome-Previous experience in investment banking / VC / PE / startups / strategy / management consulting preferred-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills-Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required, ability to create and manage financial models
